A Skinned Entry

Ok, so the title sounds weird, sorry. But seriously though, it's actually a pretty cool skin. While I sit here and think of meaningful content to put into this momentous entry, I can't help but how cool it is that DeviantArt has been around for 11 years. I mean, that's some pretty awesome staying power. I believe it is entirely due to the flippin' sweet artists that privilege us with their art. I am apparently INCAPABLE of drawing people. I just... they just... I get initial sketches down, body placement and such, but when it comes to actually fleshing out the features and placing cheekbones and eye sockets and other skeletal structure, suddenly everything I know goes right out the window. If you're wondering what brought this on, I am currently in the beginning stages of drawing a 3/4 view of Sherlock. I have the jaw line and the head placement just how I want it, but then when I go to put curves in to accentuate the eyes and cheeks, everything fails miserably.
